Practice Information - Surgery Hours

The Health Centre is open Monday to Friday for appointments and clinics. Because of the need for the doctors to make home visits, appointments with GPs can generally only be made between the hours detailed in the consultation times for Steyning & Upper Beeding as shown in the tables below. Saturdays are reserved for emergency appointments and visits. Please assist us by not booking in for Saturday clinics unless you have a genuine medical emergency.

Protected Learning Time Initiative:

A protected learning scheme for all practices in this area was launched by Horsham & Chanctonbury PCT on 26th March 2002. The aim is to allow the whole practice team opportunities to concentrate on their personal and professional development. All Doctors, Nurses, Managers and Non-Clinical Staff are involved.

Steyning Health Centre will be CLOSED from 12.00pm on the future proposed dates for protected learning.

Emergency Cover will be supplied by WSDOC (West Sussex Doctors On Call) who can be contacted through the Health Centre on telephone number 01903 843400.
