The Health Centre is open Monday to Friday for
appointments and clinics. Because of the need
for the doctors to make home visits, appointments
with GPs can generally only be made between the
hours detailed in the consultation times for Steyning
& Upper Beeding as shown in the tables below.
Saturdays are reserved for emergency appointments
and visits. Please assist us by not booking in
for Saturday clinics unless you have a genuine
medical emergency.

Note: Steyning Health Centre remains open
throughout lunch, but the Upper Beeding Surgery
closes for lunch between 12.00 and 2.00pm.
Occasionally the opening hours of the surgery will change
due to events such as staff training. Every effort will
be made to inform patients of such change, both at the
surgery itself and here on the website.

Protected Learning Time Initiative:
A protected learning scheme for all practices
in this area was launched by Horsham & Chanctonbury
PCT on 26th March 2002. The aim is to allow the
whole practice team opportunities to concentrate
on their personal and professional development.
All Doctors, Nurses, Managers and Non-Clinical
Staff are involved.
Steyning Health Centre will be CLOSED from 12.00pm
on the future proposed dates for protected learning.
Emergency Cover will be supplied by WSDOC (West
Sussex Doctors On Call) who can be contacted
through the Health Centre on telephone number
