Dr
Asmara Goodwin BM (1997 Southampton University)
Dr
Goodwin graduated from Southampton in 1997.
This was followed by six months working
at the military hospital, Haslar, in Gosport.
The next six months were spent working in
Basingstoke, before relocating to Worthing
where Dr Goodwin worked in the Hospital
before joining Steyning Health Centre as
a GP trainee in September 2000.
Dr Goodwin loved the practice so
much that she was in her own words 'delighted' to
stay on as a part time partner, taking on over half
of Dr Woodcock's patients on her return from maternity
leave.
Dr Goodwin is married to
Dave, and they have recently bought a house
on Shoreham Beach which takes up their spare
time with DIY! Outside of work her interests
are windsurfing, walking on the South Downs
and entertaining.
